❄️🧥 WINTER WEAR (T.M.I.) PROJECT
HOODIES & COATS DONATION DRIVE! 🧥❄️

As the temperatures begin to drop, we have an opportunity to help make sure our community is prepared for the winter season. ❤️

Adventist Community Services is kicking off the Winter Wear (T.M.I.) Project, collecting hoodies and coats for children, men, and women of ALL sizes.

🧤 We’re accepting:
✔️ New or gently used hoodies & coats
✔️ All sizes
✔️ Clean items

📅 Donation Drive: October 3 – November 15, 2026
📍 Donation Box: Located in the Fellowship Hall
💜 Monetary gifts are also appreciated.

You can also scan the QR code on the flyer or search Lisa Garnett under Gifting & Registry (Registry & Gift List) to shop directly from the Amazon Registry and have much-needed winter items donated to the project.

🧶💜 COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT:
YARN DRIVE 💜🧶

Emmanuel is excited to collaborate with VITAS Healthcare for a special community service project!

VITAS Healthcare is collecting yarn that will be used by their volunteer knitters and crocheters to create beautiful, comforting blankets for hospice patients. 💜

We are asking our Emmanuel family and community to help! If you would like to donate, please bring your yarn donations to Emmanuel. We will collect the donations and make sure they get to VITAS Healthcare.

🧶 Yarn needed: Medium thickness/Weight 4 yarn
🌈 Any material or color
📦 Full or partial skeins are welcome, as long as they are clean and in usable condition.

Every skein donated can help bring warmth, comfort, and love to someone who needs it. 💜

🌸 One Year Later… A Beautiful Memory Worth Sharing 🌸

I can’t believe it’s almost been a year! As July 20 approaches, I found myself looking back through these photos and realized they were simply too special not to share.

Our Women’s Prayer Breakfast was truly a beautiful morning filled with heartfelt prayer, joyful fellowship, and uplifting praise. Most of all, we were blessed by the powerful and inspiring message from Chaplain Welch, whose words encouraged us to continue walking boldly in the purpose God has for our lives.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, prayed, and helped make this event possible…thank you. Your love, support, and presence made the day unforgettable.

While a year has passed, God’s faithfulness has not changed. Looking back reminds me that the seeds planted that day continue to bear fruit, and I pray we all continue to grow in faith, strength, and purpose.

Sometimes the best memories deserve to be shared, even if they’re a little late. 💕 Thank you, Lord, for a day that continues to encourage us one year later.

What a blessed and memorable Father’s Day Sabbath at Emmanuel SDA Church! 💙🙏🏾

We are grateful for a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, and celebration as we honored the fathers and father figures in our church family.

A special thank you to the Women’s Hospitality Team for the beautiful setup prepared for the men. Your thoughtfulness and attention to detail helped make the day extra special.

We were also blessed to witness three generations paying tribute to fathers… Mother Carnage, Naomi, and Elizabeth. What a beautiful reminder of the legacy of love, faith, and family that spans generations.

One of the most touching moments of the day was a Father’s Day surprise as Sister Fudge surprised her husband by joining the Emmanuel SDA church. What a precious gift and a powerful testimony of God’s leading and love! ❤️

The Praise Dancers inspired us with their beautiful ministry as they worshiped through dance to “Good Good Father,” reminding us of our Heavenly Father’s unfailing love, care, and faithfulness.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration such a blessing. May God continue to strengthen, guide, and bless all fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and father figures.
