The text of Revelation 13 will present a fake version of Christ and call on us to compare that Christ to the real Christ. This Sunday we’ll see the Antichrist vs. Jesus Christ. Powerful spiritual forces are at work during the latter half of the Tribulation. But knowing how the story ends, we still see God’s incredible faithfulness to His people amidst a day of great trouble. Even though they may suffer now, they—and we—have a future free of fear.

Despite years of their unfaithfulness and rebellion, God is still faithful to His promises to Israel. And because He is faithful to them, we know that He will be faithful to us too. Great is His faithfulness!
