Monday has a way of arriving before we are ready for it.
The weekend closes, the week opens, and suddenly the weight of everything that needs to be done lands back on your shoulders. The bills, the meetings, the difficult conversation you have been putting off, the worry that never fully went away.
Psalm 8 does not pretend that the weight is not real. It just offers a frame for carrying it. The same God who set the moon and stars in place has not looked away from you. You have been crowned with glory and honor, not because your Monday is going smoothly, but because that is what God sees when God looks at you.
You are not invisible this week. You are not forgotten. You are not too small to matter to the God who made everything.
Carry that into your Monday. It is a better thing to carry than most of what we pick up on our own.
