Somewhere tonight, a child will go to bed hungry.

On September 13, Trinity is doing something about it. We're teaming up with Rise Against Hunger to pack over 24,000 meals for families around the world, and we need hands, hearts, and neighbors to make it happen. No experience required, just a willingness to show up. Bring your kids, bring your coworkers, bring your whole small group. We'll have an assembly line, some great music, and a whole lot of purpose in the room.

Picture this. Philip is told to walk out onto a desert road with no idea why. A carriage comes rolling by, and instead of waiting to see what happens, he runs. Full sprint, down a dirt road, in the heat, just to catch up to a stranger's carriage. He did not have a plan; He barely had an explanation. He just had a nudge from God and enough trust to move his feet. Most of us wait for certainty before we act.

Philip reminds us that sometimes faith looks like running before you know exactly where you are headed.

Today the hallways fill again with backpacks and butterflies, with new shoes and old friendships and a hundred small hopes tucked into lunchboxes. Whether you're dropping off a kindergartner for the very first time, walking into your own classroom to shape young minds, or sending a teenager off with a nervous wave from the driveway, today matters.

So here's our prayer for you. For the teachers, we pray for patience that doesn't run out by 9am and for the reminder that you are shaping more than test scores, you are shaping people. For the kids, we pray for courage to raise a hand, to make a new friend, to be exactly who God made you to be. For the families, we pray for peace in the chaos of the morning rush and grace for the days that don't go as planned.

God, walk every hallway today. Sit in every classroom. Steady every nervous heart, big and small. Remind us all that we are held, we are known, and we are loved, no matter what today brings.

Here's to a beautiful first day. We're cheering for you.
