Monday has a way of arriving before we are ready for it.

The weekend closes, the week opens, and suddenly the weight of everything that needs to be done lands back on your shoulders. The bills, the meetings, the difficult conversation you have been putting off, the worry that never fully went away.

Psalm 8 does not pretend that the weight is not real. It just offers a frame for carrying it. The same God who set the moon and stars in place has not looked away from you. You have been crowned with glory and honor, not because your Monday is going smoothly, but because that is what God sees when God looks at you.

You are not invisible this week. You are not forgotten. You are not too small to matter to the God who made everything.

Carry that into your Monday. It is a better thing to carry than most of what we pick up on our own.

Somewhere in Petersburg right now, a Trinity teenager is learning something no classroom could ever teach.

They are learning that love is not just something you feel. It is something you build.
Our Trinity youth are spending this week at Tri-Cities Workcamp, swinging hammers, painting walls, and building wheelchair ramps for families in need. They are mixing work crews with youth from other churches, showing up to the same home every day, and pouring themselves into something bigger than themselves.

Tri-Cities Workcamp has been connecting high school youth with their communities since 1987, and we are so proud that Trinity is part of that legacy this week.

Pray for our youth and their leaders as they work, grow, and discover what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. We could not be prouder.

Love wins. Even with a paintbrush.

At some point this week, you probably felt it.

Standing in the grocery store line a little longer than you wanted to. Sitting in traffic with nowhere to go. Watching the news and not knowing what to do with what you saw. Carrying something heavy that nobody else around you could see.

And maybe in the middle of all of that, something still caught your breath. The way the light hit the trees this morning. A text from someone you had not heard from in a while. A moment of unexpected kindness from a stranger. Something small that felt, just for a second, like it was meant for you.

Psalm 150 says let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Not everything that has it together. Not everything that feels ready. Everything that breathes. Your ordinary, complicated, beautiful, exhausting week qualifies. All of it does.

Come bring it on Sunday. Worship is at 10:00 AM, and all of it is welcome here.

What is the Good News you have seen and heard that you are tempted to keep to yourself?

Because there is always something. The moment that changed things. The community that held you when you were falling apart. The grace that showed up when you did not deserve it and were not looking for it. The Sunday morning when something landed differently than it ever had before.

Peter and John could not stop talking about what they had experienced. Not because they were extraordinary people, but because what they had seen and heard was extraordinary. And they understood that keeping it to themselves was simply not an option.

The world around us is hungry for good news. Real good news. Not the performed kind but the lived kind. The kind that comes from someone who has actually been somewhere and seen something and is willing to say so.

So go say so. That is the whole assignment.

Our Trinity youth are mid-mission in Altoona, PA, and we could not be more grateful for their courage, their faith, and their willingness to say yes.

Galatians 5:13 reminds us that we are called to serve one another in love. That is exactly what they are doing, one project and one conversation at a time.

While they work, we pray. For rest in the middle of long days. For joy that surprises them. For the kind of moments they will carry with them long after they come home.

Keep them in your hearts today, Trinity family, and if you feel led, drop a prayer for them in the comments.
