A Mother’s Day Tribute
Today, on this Mother’s Day,
we honor the mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers and mother‑figures
whom the Lord has placed in our lives as reflections of
His compassion, His strength, and His faithfulness from generation to generation.
In Scripture, living water is a symbol of life, purity, and God’s sustaining presence.
And today we recognize that mothers are like strong water.
They flow into the dry places of our lives, bringing refreshment, comfort, and renewal.
Their love is gentle enough to soothe yet strong enough to carve through the rocky seasons of our lives.
Their prayers move like living water over their families, cleansing, protecting, and giving life again and again.
And we are thankful that mothers are also the glue that binds the family together.
Through their words, their wisdom, their courage, and their faith, they hold hearts in unity.
They carry burdens no one sees, speak peace into storms, and keep the light of faith burning bright in the home.
Their presence weaves generations together in love and blessing.
In Proverbs 31, the woman of valor is praised not for perfection but for her strength, her fear of the Lord, and her faithful love.
Today we honor every woman who walks in that calling.
So we speak blessings over them:
May the Lord bless the mothers who have poured themselves out like water—may He refill them with joy, strength, and peace.
May He bless the mothers who have held families together—may He steady their hearts and surround them with His presence.
May He bless the mothers who have carried silent battles—may He lift their burdens and renew their spirits.
May Jesus, our Messiah, cover them with His peace, His love, and His rest.
Today, we rise and call them blessed.
Today, we thank God for the strong water they carry.
Today, we honor the glue that binds our families together.
May His peace continue to rest upon you all, and Happy Mother’s Day.
