The final night of Winter Word Conference was incredible! Our very own, Jeff Gardner, provided an overview of the Old Testament and reminded us it’s not just history, it’s one unified story pointing to Jesus. The law revealed our need. The prophets called us back. The kings stirred longing for a perfect King. The sacrifices pointed to a better sacrifice. From the beginning to end, God has been telling one story of redemption. Much light has been in our midst this week, enough to drive out the darkness. Now it’s our turn. Study, practice, and teach the Law of the Lord. Go be a blessing. Go be the best version of yourself. Go live what you’ve learned. Let the light we’ve received shine far beyond this conference carrying hope, truth, and God’s presence wherever we go.

Night two of Winter Word Conference was impactful! Guest speaker, Reggie McNeal, reminded us that Jesus had a Kingdom-centric view. He came announcing the Kingdom and told us to seek it first. The church has a role, but the Kingdom is the point: abundant, flourishing life. Kingdom people multiply good, make peace, and bless intentionally. The challenge for us: Is our community better because we’re here? Not by how many members we have in church on Sunday, but by how many lives are blessed, marriages strengthened, kids loved, and people closer to God. When we gather, it’s halftime and the real game is life. Everywhere we go, the Kingdom goes. The mission is clear: Make earth look more like heaven.

Night one of our Winter Word Conference was powerful! Guest speaker, David Gordon, dove into eschatology, the last days, the return of Christ, and the living hope we have as believers. A reminder that our faith isn’t just about today…it’s anchored in eternity. In a dark and uncertain world, we’re not called to fear the future, we’re called to be a light in the darkness. We need to shout where the Bible shouts, whisper where it whispers, and stay silent where it is silent, not adding to it or taking away from it, but faithfully handling the Word of God. That’s how we stay ready for His return!
