Hello Everyone!!! In 15 days we are celebrating our great Nation's birthday! We have the honor of serving our first BBQ starting around 5:00 pm at the Lewis County Gospel Mission. The menu will be coming, it is open to everyone! We will have appropriate fireworks for inside city limits. Bring your chairs, bring a side dish and let's make this an old-fashioned get together. As always we would love your donations.

Ops! We just discovered that the QR code for donations on our web site home page does not work! We will be working to fix that in the near future.

Meanwhile, the DONATION button right above the QR code works just fine.

There are Empty bins on the shelves in the clothing department! It seems like a broken record... We are almost always out of men's sizes 28-to-38-inch waist trousers. Help!

Here a few other items that the Mission could use today:

Tents
Travel size shampoo and conditioner
Hand & Body lotion
Pancake Mix
Chedder Cheese

AND HOW ABOUT CHECKING US OUR FOR VOLUNTEER OPPERTUNITIES? Do you have a couple of hours each week to come by and help with yard care? Do you have experience with bookkeeping and accounting? We could use your help. Do you like to meet and care for people who are marginalized by society? We have a place for you!

The Lewis County Gospel Mission if so BLESSED to have great supporters! We shared a need last week for eggs and you filled our refrigeration with EGGS! Thank you!

We are also being blessed with LOADS of yard sale STUFF! The yard sale will be August 8, 2026, in our vacant lot. Watch for the exciting plans and additional information.

NOW, we are into the beginnings of what may prove to be one of the hottest summers in recent history. We are already going through LOTS of bottled water, and the need will only increase for the next few months. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE NEED FOR BOTTLES WATER WILL BE WITH US ALL SUMMER AND INTO THE FALL! We are currently out, please help.

Good Morning Lewis County Friends. We enjoyed a wonderful pancake breakfast this morning at the Mission. We were joined by 87 hungry individuals!

Now the Mission has a need!

The Mission uses somewhere between 10 and 20 dozen eggs every day. This is a need that never goes away!

WE are always thankful for everything that our community does to support our homeless and needy of Lewis County.
