Help us reach 250 Holy Hours from June 3-June 11. 🇺🇸❤️

As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11.

In response, the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is inviting our communities to join in prayer for the unity, healing, and renewal of our country through Eucharistic Adoration. Our goal is to complete 250 Holy Hours from June 3-June 11 in honor of this historic milestone!

This weekend, we celebrate Pentecost, often called the birthday of the Church. Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the “Advocate.” The Latin word for lawyer is “advocatus.” Like a lawyer, the Holy Spirit defends and guides us. So, when you’re in trouble, don’t forget — ask for your lawyer, and do what he tells you.
