IMPORTANT: Reminder- On Sunday we tested out our new "Texting Communication Platform". If you did not get our text on Sunday under the number 304-407-2860, please go to your Spam folder within your text messages and find the text and mark as "not spam". You will also want to add this number in your contacts and mark it "Southeast".

Starting tomorrow the old platform will no longer be in use. We want to make sure everyone receives our messages so please make sure to do this ASAP. It seems as if the ones that went to spam folders were Android users with Google messaging or Samsung messaging. IPhone users did not have an issue receiving the message.

If you are unsure how to find your spam folder in your text messages, please contact Pastor Stephanie at 304-444-5599 and she will send your directions.

We are currently implementing a new text messaging communication system. It has come to our attention that many Android users did not receive the text that had all bulletin events listed on it. The text was sent at 6:15 PM Sunday evening. In many cases, the message appears to have been filtered into the spam folder. This is nothing we can fix on our end, but you can fix on your end.

If you did not receive a text message on your phone from Southeast from 304-407-2860, please check your spam folder in your messaging app, as the message was likely delivered there.

We want to make sure you stay informed and up to date on all upcoming events and important announcements. Below, you’ll find instructions on how to locate your spam folder and mark messages from Southeast as “Not Spam” to ensure future updates are delivered directly to your inbox.

Google Messages:
Open the Google Messages app.
Tap your profile picture or initials in the top right corner.
Select Spam & blocked.
Tap any message and select Not spam to restore it to your inbox.

Samsung Messages:
Open the Samsung Messages app.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Select Settings, then tap Block numbers and messages.
Tap Blocked messages to review filtered texts
Tap Edit at the top, select the conversation, and tap Unblock.

IPhone users more than likely didn't have an issue, but if you did not receive it you will also need click on the 3 bars in your messaging app and click on spam folder and restore it to your inbox.
