A few of our guys had a full day Saturday. It started off with a Men’s Brotherhood breakfast at Lambert Baptist and then it was followed by a Bbq Picnic at Abundant Harvest. We are so truly blessed by each and every person that pours their heart into these guys. We could not do what we do without each and every single one of you. Thank you for setting such great examples that you do so that others can follow them. We are so grateful to be apart of such a loving community that strives to see the Body of Christ and His Kingdom be built up!✝️🫶🙏❤️

Good Morning,

We are truly blessed to have such a great cloud of wittiness and believers that love Jesus and the kingdom of God. We just want to thank Bro. Tim Henderson and Faith Baptist Church of Lambert for being so good to us and going above and beyond to take care of us. This past Sunday they had us for a wonderful fellowship meal and direct a word from God. Then they sent us home with a “pounding” as they call it. A bus load of any supply and food item anyone could need. We literally could not do what we do with the love and support of all of our church families and supporters. We are so grateful for every individual that gave and made this possible. We love our Bro. Tim and Faith Baptist!!❤️❤️✝️‼️🫶

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

Watching God restore families means witnessing His powerful, redemptive work in a family's life, transforming brokenness into wholeness, pain into praise, and despair into hope. This is what begins to happen as residents begin to have their visits with family. God redeems difficult family backstories, bringing forgiveness, love, and understanding where there was hurt and conflict. It’s truly one of the greatest blessing to watch as God begins to put back together the pieces of brokenness cause by our selfish lifestyles. We had an emotional weekend as God is moving and working in these two families. The transformation power of the Holy Spirit filled this house and it was the most beautiful thing..❤️✝️🆓

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. •1 Peter 5:10🙏

Isaiah Leatherwood has been with us for almost four years now and has put his whole heart into this ministry. He has been such a BIG part of getting our Charleston location rooted and grounded in the community. He has put in countless hours of loving, counseling, encouraging, and helping building up any and all of the men that has came in the doors. He is a true picture of putting your hand to the plow and not looking back. He never complains, never gives in, just keeps plowing and giving himself to do the Lord’s work. God has been opening doors for him to be able to go and teach and preach in different places. This past Sunday he was invited to speak at the Vaiden Baptist Family Life Center. It was such a beautiful place with amazing fellowship and worship. We are so grateful for Bro. John and our Special family from Vaiden Baptist that always go above and beyond to help take care of us. We love them so much!!🫶❤️✝️

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.🙏‼️🆓🆕

Meet Pat Sears, she is from Booneville , MS.

Pat has been with us for almost a year now she graduated from our Kilmichael campus and transferred to Charleston to help out where God needed her. She has recently started training as weekend overseer , which is a big accomplishment for her. It is helping her to break out of her shell and walk into the calling God has for her. It has been an emotional healing process since she got here considering a year ago she lost her own son to drugs. This has been a long hard journey for her but with the help of Jesus she is beginning to grieve and move past the one thing that she thought she would never get over. It’s still a slow process but she has her hand to the plow and is determined. She never imagined the Lord would put her at all all men’s ministry to help put the broken pieces of her heart back together and give her such purpose in life. We are so grateful for her and all that she does.✝️❤️

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom…. With that freedom comes unexplainable joy beyond anything we can ask, see or imagine. It was just an honor to be able to attend the worship night at Celebrate Recovery in Grenada. The presence of the Lord truly filled that place as we saw the alters fill up and people crying out to God. They had the group Bloodline who is no stranger to GHOH and they all hold special places in our hearts. They have been apart of GHOH for a long time and we are truly blessed by their music ministry. It was such a powerful service where we encountered the almighty presence of the Lord. Hearts were touched, chains were broke, and captives were set free. So powerful that the glory of the Lord truly filled the sanctuary. 🆕✝️❤️🆓‼️

This past week a few of our Directors got together for a day of Missions looking for ways to encourage, bless, and share the love of Jesus. The Bible tells us that we are to look out for the poor and the widows. So as we were out praying for God to send us to those who were in need, we were led to Ms. Bonnie Gilley who is our very own Blains mother. Ms. Bonnie Gilley. She is so very special to us and has been going through a really hard time since she lost her husband Terry of 19 years of marriage back in April. Grief is a process that sometimes is very slow and very difficult but the word tells us that The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. That is where we gain our confidence and hope from. She has worked at persevering through this storm but most days is overwhelming and hard for her to get through. Thank you Jesus that you see us where we are in these moments. She was so surprised and grateful to see Blain and all of us to surprise her at work. She just thought her day was gonna be a normal routine BUT GOD had other plans for her on that day! It was such a blessing to be able to stop by and share the love of Jesus with her and be able to bless her and pray for her. Please remember her as you pray as she is working through this time of her life.❤️✝️🫶💕🙏
We love you Ms. Bonnie!!

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy". • John 16:22

It’s moments like this that we truly get to encounter the love of jesus! Our brother Mickey got a gift that was very unexpected. Something that most of us take for-granted; A BIBLE! This is how specific God is and how ALL knowing HE is. He had been praying and wanting a Bible that was easier for him to read and understand. God is always listening. This is the very first Bible that he has ever truly had that was given to him. His name was inscribed on it as well. He was so excited and overwhelmed he honestly didn’t know how to act. He has spent so much of his life in and out of prison that gifts is something he has really never received. It’s moments like this that barriers break in our life that will forever change us!

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Meet our brother Benjamin Fountain, he is 38 from Ackerman, Ms.

Benjamin’s life growing up was really hard. He was raised by his father that was hard and stern to say the least. His mom left when he was very young so he spent most of his life searching for love. At the age of 13 his father had a stroke and he became his full time caregiver and that became his life. Between school, his dad, and trying to help provide for them he became very angry, depressed, and bitter with life. At the age of 20 he meet his wife and they began to have children. He gave his life to taking care of them but it didn’t remove or take away the abandonment, anger, and hurt that filled his heart from his childhood. About 5 months ago his dad passed away and Benjamin’s life begin to crumble. He found himself in a very dark place with no end in sight. He begin to turn to drugs which caused him to spiral out of control. He became violent and very mean towards everyone trying to cover up his pain. Trying to run from the pain and keep up with his new habit he finally found himself sitting in jail for the first time.‼️BUT GOD‼️stepped into his life just at the right time and brought him to GHOH. Benjamin has been with us for a month now and he is learning who he is in Christ. He has found peace with things that have tormented him his whole life. He is learning how to let things go and walk in the freedom Christ died to give him. We are so proud of Benjamin and the work God has begun in his life.❤️✝️

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 🙏
