Welcome to the Chambersburg Baptist Church page, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, Baptist Resource Network and Keystone Baptist Association. John Healy, preaches through the Bible verse-by-verse with the goal to: Exalt the Savior, Equip the Saints and Evangelize the Sinners. Our Direction: to "Magnify & Multiply" (M&M) -- MAGNIFY God and His Word to help us Mature in Christ as

we MULTIPLY His Kingdom. Our Mission: to be an ACTS 1:8 Church

Our Vision: to Love God & Love Others. Our Music: is designed to prepare our hearts to receive God's Word. We use a mixture contemporary worship and traditional hymns changing our Worship style from southern gospel or more contemporary along with the occasional specials from solo, duet or trio artist.

"Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

Today, as we observe Good Friday, let us take the time to reflect on what was accomplished on this day two thousand years ago. It was the day that the Lamb of God was beaten, mocked, and nailed to the cross. As He hung there, the Son of God suffered for us. His blood poured out so that we may have forgiveness of our sins. In those last moments, as He prepared to breathe His last breath, Jesus proclaimed "It is finished" (John 19:30) At that moment, the world witnessed God's plan of redemption for mankind, the very good creation that He so deeply loves. Let us remember how the Son of God was "pierced for our transgressions" and "bruised for our iniquities," (Isaiah 53:5) all so that WE can be saved from our sin. It is not just "Good Friday," it is a "Great Friday!"

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace..." (Ephesians 1:7)
