As the school year ends, we are collecting school uniforms and school supplies to help local families prepare for the next school year. Donations will be washed, sorted, and organized into take home packs for parents.

If you would like to donate uniforms, backpacks, paper, pens, art supplies, or other school items, please message us to schedule a drop off time.

First Baptist Church of Chalmette has been designated as the local drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child in St. Bernard Parish. National Collection Week will take place from November 17-24, 2025. The following drop-off times are as scheduled:

Monday, November 17, 11am-1pm
Tuesday, November 18, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Wednesday, November 19, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Thursday, November 20, 9am-11am
Friday, November 21, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday, November 22, 11am-1pm
Sunday, November 23, 12pm-2pm
Monday, November 24, 10am-12pm

Empty shoeboxes are available in the Global Cafe, adjacent to the OCC display, for those who wish to fill a box independently. Alternatively, you may use regular shoeboxes or plastic shoebox containers. Please ensure that filled boxes are returned to the church during OCC National Collection Week.
