Day 06—Pray Matthew 5:14–16 over Radiant Church, a new WVCSB church plant in St. Albans, and planter Ryan Bandy, his wife, Stephanie, and their launch team. Today, they are holding their first preview service, beginning a season of monthly gatherings as they build community and prepare for their public launch on March 7, 2027. Ask God to draw people who are far from him, form a healthy, gospel-centered church, and give this team courage, unity, and endurance. Pray that Radiant Church would live up to its name, shining the light of Christ so Jesus is made known in and through St. Albans and beyond.

Good morning, church family! After about two months in the little letter of 1 John (and what a study that was!!) and after a three-year hiatus, we are going back to the book of Romans for several weeks. Today, we are going to take a whirlwind tour of the first eight chapters as we survey what Paul has to say about "The Powerful Gospel of God."

We certainly hope we'll see you in the morning, even with the holiday weekend. Maybe you haven't been to church for a while, now would be a GREAT TIME to start back on a regular basis. Please remember, we don't HAVE to go to church. We GET to go to church! What a privilege it is to worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ!! And if you're looking for a church home, one where you will be greeted warmly and where you can learn God's Word as God gave it to us, then we would invite you to check us out!

Morning Worship - 10:45 AM

PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT have evening services this week because of the Labor Day holiday. Also, our church offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday.

We’re always on the lookout for our church members and their goings on in the life of the broader community. Janet Hall has worked at Cabell Huntington Hospital for several years now. She and others were honored today for the work they do for patients there. Congratulations, Janet!!
