This was 6740 pounds if food, given out to 156 households.

Total souls served was 652, meaning that in average, each person served received 10.3 pounds of food.

Our next distribution is with We Are CASA on Saturday June 13th from 10am to 12pm.

Come out and help us feed even more people, our goal is 1000 souls through CASA, and for that we need you to show up. We get about a ton more food at CASA, so come and get it.

We are at Potomac Library in Woodbridge Virginia from 4pm to 6pm.

We have cucumbers, zucchini, watermelon, corn, sweet potatoes, celery and plantains.

We are at We Are CASA for our monthly food distribution.

This is the line at 9am, 1 hour before we open.

By the time we open, it will be around thr back of the building.

Still everyone in line will be fed thanks to Capital Area Food Bank dropping off nearly 5 tons of food.

We are ready for you.

We have about 9500 pounds of food to distribute at We Are CASA tomorrow morning from 10am to 12pm.

This is going to be so much fun.

Tuesday means Tuesday Cafe Hot Lunch.

Today is Cinnamon Waffles made from scratch, with cling peaches topping and sausage on the side.

We could have used a mix to make standard waffles quicker, but I feel making them from scratch gives more time for pur compassion and love to work its way into the batter.

Our honeless friends loved it, and that makes me happier than I can explain, without sounding like a Christian hippie.

We love doing these, please note that even though the sign is in Spanish, all are welcome.

On February 12th, the SOS Feeding Ministry, in collaboration with CASA, hosted a food distribution event to benefit the community.
