Fire Danger to Increase to High Across Rogue Valley on Friday

Under High Fire Danger restrictions, the public should expect additional limitations on activities that could ignite fires. Power-driven equipment such as chainsaws, w**d trimmers, mowers, generators, and other spark-producing tools may only be operated during designated hours. Industrial operators working on forestlands will also face increased restrictions under the Industrial Fire Precaution Level system.

Happy Father’s Day weekend to all the dads out there! 👔

“Being a dad has changed me more than anything else in my life. But fatherhood hasn’t always felt easy. There are moments where I wonder if I’m getting it right, moments where I feel stretched thin trying to balance work, family, and being present for the people I love most.

“I travel a lot for work, and being away from my wife and kids can be hard. It’s made me realize how important the simple moments are. Family dinners. Bedtime stories. Saturday mornings. Those small moments matter more to me now than almost anything else.

“Parenting is humbling because you quickly realize you don’t have all the answers. You want to protect your kids from pain, but at the same time you know they have to grow, struggle, and learn for themselves. Becoming a father has actually brought me closer to God because it’s helped me understand His patience and love in a deeper way.

“At the end of the day, one of the greatest blessings in my life is getting to be called ‘Dad.’”—Jonathan

These humanitarian collaborations are wonderful!

“It’s clear to us that hunger is everywhere, in every community,” Sister Browning said. “This effort as a Church reflects our desire to follow the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ, by lifting others and strengthening individuals, families and communities.”

A significant portion of the food will be distributed to those in need on Saturday in honor of .

The Church has now delivered truckloads of food to all 50 U.S. states as part of its effort to commemorate the United States’ 250th anniversary. By year’s end, 250 truckloads of food will have been distributed nationwide, representing millions of meals. Half of those 250 truckloads have already been delivered.
