This Sunday, we will be reflecting on Psalm 9!

“I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.” (Psalm 9:1–2)

Psalm 9 reminds us that God reigns as the righteous Judge, yet He is also a refuge for all who trust in Him. In a world filled with uncertainty, we find hope, mercy, and salvation in Jesus Christ.

Join us as we gather to worship the Lord, sing His praises, and hear His Word proclaimed.

This Sunday we begin Psalms: Songs of the Saviour (Vol. 2) — ten weeks walking through the songs God's people have sung for three thousand years. But we're not reading them as ancient poetry or private comfort alone. We're asking three questions of every Psalm:

What did it mean then?

How does it point to Christ?

And what does it mean for you now?

If you've ever felt like you know the Psalms but couldn't quite say why they matter then this might be the sermon series for you.

You have a favourite Psalm. You can probably quote a line of it from memory. You reach for it when life gets heavy...when you can't sleep...when you've run out of your own words.

But here's a question worth sitting with: when did the Psalms last surprise you?

For a lot of us, the Psalter has quietly become a comfort drawer. Open it, grab what we need, close it again. We know it's there.

But do we truly get what the Psalms are trying to teach us?

“Oh come, let us sing unto the LORD” (Psalm 95:1).

We are continuing our series on the Lord’s Day this weekend at 9am during RedeemerU, our adult Sunday school class.

This week we’ll conclude the series with our final session, “Living It Out,” by Robert Godfrey.

This study has been a tremendous encouragement, and we’re grateful for how the Lord has used it to deepen our understanding of His Word and the blessing of the Lord’s Day.
