It's been a while since I've been on here; I hope y'all are doing great. I have been busy completing/publishing a book that I wrote about my experience during Hurricane Katrina, as I served as a National Guard soldier in the Superdome and around New Orleans. Along with being interesting, I thought it was good to write about what I saw because it was obvious that few understood what people were going through. People struggled through peril, and survived by the help of their neighbors and miracles. There's many perspectives and stories that have never been shared, and this book is simply my perspective.
