Zoar Student Ministries Join us for Worship and Bible study on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Our purpose is to reach teenagers with the love of Christ, teaching them His truth, leading them to exalt God while serving and enjoying the company of others.

We had a great week at Generate ETBU this past week learning how God love extends toward all people through the Gospel! We learned that as God extends love to all people He calls us to be his hands and feet, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to all who will listen! God is good and I thank Him for all He showed us this week! Now it’s our turn to come home and be on mission!

What does a cursed fig tree have to do with your prayer life? Everything.

In Mark 11, Jesus does something shocking—He curses a fruitless fig tree as a living parable about spiritual emptiness. The religious leaders had turned God's house of prayer into a marketplace, missing the whole point. When Peter marvels at the withered tree, Jesus redirects him to something far more powerful: prayer rooted in faith.

Here's the challenge: How often do we treat prayer as a last resort instead of our lifeline to God? Jesus teaches that prayer isn't just bookends to our worship—it's central to our relationship with Him. And it requires two things: unwavering faith and a forgiving heart.

If you talked to your best friend as much as you talk to God, how close would you be? This week, let's move prayer from the margins to the center of our lives.
