“No matter how far you run…” He’s still there. 🤍

This week on The Ash Archive, I’m sitting down with Joy Clark as she shares a testimony of running from God, searching for love and validation in all the wrong places, walking through abuse, fear, and some of the darkest seasons of her life…

…but discovering that God never left.

At 19, Joy found herself in a situation she never imagined she would be in. Pregnant, afraid, isolated, and trapped in an abusive relationship, she had to make a decision that would change not only her life, but her daughter’s.

And through it all, God was there.

He was there when she ran.
He was there when she hid.
He was there when she felt unworthy.
He was there in the darkness.
And He was there when she finally came home.

Today, Joy is a wife, a mother of two, a music director, a children’s church teacher, and a woman who has found a deeper understanding of the unconditional love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Her story is a reminder that you have not outrun God.

No matter how far you’ve gone.
No matter what you’ve done.
No matter how long you’ve been hiding.

There is still a call on your life. There is still a home for you in Him. And as long as you’re alive, there is still a second chance.

What a beautiful Sunday!

We’re so excited to celebrate with one of our saints, Chandra, as she took the next step in her walk with the Lord and was baptized in Jesus’ name this past Sunday! 🙌🏼❤️

What a joy to witness God working in her life! We are so thankful for this new beginning and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for her.
