As you probably know by now, the Holy Father has released his first encyclical. Here is a copy of that really magnificent encyclical, written by a man who as a Cardinal, had weekly meetings with Pope Francis and greatly respected Pope Benedict. It reads as a document written by an English speaker, not as a translated document. As its title indicates, it is about the magnificence of humanity, humanity in the world of commerce and industry. It is more than a summary of prior Catholic teaching going back to his namesake, Pope Leo the XVIII; it is and extension of it. A remarkable document that is already catching the excited attention of even non-Catholics. here is a link to it at the Vatican Website:
