Day Camp + Day Camp Jr. families — this one is for you! ☀️🌲

Camp starts soon, and we cannot wait to have your campers with us for a fun week at Camp Meribah!

Please check the graphics for what to bring each day and the drop-off/pick-up details for your camper’s session.

Bring each day:
Water clothes
Creek shoes
Towel

Campers can come already dressed in creek clothes, or bring them to change into later.

If your camper needs sunscreen, please apply it before drop-off each morning. Counselors may help reapply during the day, but families should apply it first.

☀️ What to Bring for Day Camp & Day Camp Jr.

Day Camp and Day Camp Jr. are designed to feel a lot like a school day — just with a whole lot more creek time and camp fun!

Campers only need a few things each day:

✅ Water clothes
✅ Creek shoes
✅ Towel

You can either send your child already dressed in their creek clothes for the day, or you can send clothes for them to change into before creek time. Either way is fine!

A little Camp Director / boy dad pro tip: board shorts work great for boys because they can play in them during the day, wear them to the creek, and then change afterward. Just send creek shoes and a towel with them!

☀️ Sunscreen:
If your camper needs sunscreen, please apply it before drop-off each morning. Counselors can help reapply during the day, but it is always best to send campers already covered and ready to go.

Drop-off: 7:30–8:00 AM at the Centerville Church of Christ Lighthouse
Pick-up: 3:00–3:30 PM at Camp Meribah

🚨 DAY CAMP JR IS FULL! 🚨

We are so excited to announce that Day Camp Jr. is officially FULL! 🙌

We cannot wait to welcome these campers to Camp Meribah for a week filled with faith, fellowship, and fun. From Bible lessons and singing to creek time, games, friends, and memories that will last long after summer is over, this is going to be such a special week!

Thank you to every family who signed up and trusted us with your campers. Camp season is almost here, and we are ready! 🌲☀️

Yesterday was BUS CLEANUP DAY at Camp Meribah! 🧽🚌☀️

Our staff spent the day scrubbing buses, cleaning vans, sweeping out seats, washing windows, and getting everything ready for campers to arrive. It may not be the glamorous side of camp, but this is part of what makes Camp Meribah special—people willing to serve behind the scenes so campers can have the best week possible.

These buses will soon be full of singing, laughter, friendships, and memories headed to the creek, games, and adventures all over camp. We are getting closer and closer to camp season, and the excitement is REAL. 🌲🔥💦

Huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers who came out and worked hard yesterday. Camp does not happen without people willing to serve.

☀️ PACKING LIKE A PRO! ☀️

Camp is almost here, and a little preparation can make a BIG difference!

Here are a few camp-tested tips from the Camp Meribah staff:

✅ Pack each day’s outfit in a gallon-size Ziploc bag. It makes mornings easier and helps younger campers stay organized.

✅ Bring a small laundry hamper or dirty clothes bag to keep cabins neat and make packing up at the end of the week much easier.

✅ Rolling foot lockers are a camp favorite! They help campers stay organized and give them a place to keep all of their belongings.

✅ Label EVERYTHING. Water bottles, towels, Bibles, flashlights, clothing, pillows, and sleeping bags all seem to look alike by the end of the week!

A little organization means less time looking for socks and more time making memories. 😎🏕️

🎨 Optional Camp Packing Tip: Bring Something WHITE for Tie-Dye!

Campers attending Mini-Meribah, Youth Week, and Teen Week will have the chance to tie-dye something during camp!

This is completely optional, but most campers will probably want to join in the fun. A white t-shirt is always a great choice, but we also love the idea of bringing a white pillowcase so your camper can make a special Camp Meribah memory to take home and use all summer long!

Other simple ideas:
👕 White t-shirt
🧦 White socks
🏕️ Small white towel
🛏️ White pillowcase

Just make sure it is something you are okay with turning into a colorful camp keepsake!

🏕️ Packing for Camp Meribah? We’ve got you covered!

Before you zip up that suitcase, make sure your camper has everything they need for a great week of Faith, Fellowship, & Fun — from their Bible and bedding to creek shoes, towels, and that all-important white shirt for the Meribah Color Run!

A few quick reminders:
✅ Creek shoes are a must — no flip flops for the creek!
✅ Shirts and shorts must be worn during water activities.
✅ Do not forget a flashlight and lawn chair!
✅ Label anything you really want to come back home. 😅

Pro tip from the camp director who is also a parent: a personalized clothing stamp is a game changer for camp packing! It makes labeling shirts, shorts, towels, bedding, and bags so much easier.

Camp Meribah 2026 is almost here and is filling up FAST!

We are so excited about the summer ahead, and several of our sessions are now down to just a few spots — or already full!

☀️ Day Camp: 8 spots remaining
☀️ Day Camp Jr: 4 spots remaining
🏕️ Mini-Meribah Boys: 17 beds remaining
🏕️ Mini-Meribah Girls: 18 beds remaining
🎉 Youth Week Boys: FULL
🎉 Youth Week Girls: FULL
🔥 Teen Week Boys: FULL
🔥 Teen Week Girls: 3 beds remaining

🎉 THEME NIGHTS ARE BACK AT CAMP MERIBAH! 🎉

One of the most fun traditions of the summer is dressing up for our nightly theme nights! Campers love getting creative, laughing together, and making memories with their cabins and teams.

This year’s themes are simple, fun, and easy to join in on—no need to spend money or stress about it. Use what you already have, be creative, and just have fun with it!

A few reminders:
• Theme nights are completely optional
• Simple is perfectly fine
• Keep everything camp-friendly and appropriate
• No fake weapons or scary costumes

We can’t wait to see the creativity, the laughs, and the camp spirit this summer! ☀️🎉🇺🇸🎄🎃💚
