Confirmation Camp This Week in Action! π
Last night before bed, the campers participated in a Christ Walk led by their camp counselors. The walk was filled with songs, stories, and moments of reflection. At the end, we remembered the incredible gift of Jesus, who died on the cross for us.
This morning, Vicar Mary led us on a walk through camp. We talked about how the uprooted and twisted trees left behind from the previous storm can remind us of how sin can leave us feeling broken and damaged. One of the campers shared that prayer is a bridge from sin to forgiveness.
As we made our way back, we noticed new life growing from an old, broken-down tree. It was a beautiful reminder that through the Holy Spirit, we are forgiven, restored, and given new life. Even in our brokenness, God is still at work, bringing hope and renewal.
Camp really is a special place.
