Father God,

As we begin a new week, help us shine brightly wherever You place us. Let our words be kind, our hearts be gentle, and our actions reflect Your love.

Remind us that we never truly know what someone else may be carrying. Help us be quick to encourage, slow to judge, and willing to extend the same grace You've shown us.

May we be a light in someone's dark day, a smile to someone who needs it, and a reminder that they are seen and loved.

Happy Monday ladies🧡

So I've been checking on my lilies every day waiting for them to bloom. Well... if I'm being honest, probably multiple times a day.😂

The sun has been shining. The temperatures have been warm. Everything seemed ready, but those buds stayed closed.

Then came the rain. I left for church yesterday morning and of course I looked over to check on them and my first bloom was there!!

It got me thinking...maybe we spend so much time trying to avoid the rain that we miss its purpose.

You never know what might open up, grow, or bloom after the rain. The very season you're wishing away may be the one God uses to bring out something beautiful.

One of my favorite note cards hanging on my encouragement wall right now says: " You can't be a butterfly with caterpillar thinking."

WHEW!!

Sometimes God is trying to grow us, stretch us, and call us higher, but our mindset keeps trying to return to old seasons.

Isaiah 43:19- "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?..."

Father God,

Thank You for this beautiful day, for breath in our lungs, peace in our hearts, and another chance to walk with You and walk in our purpose.

Help us slow down, soak in the sunshine, love on our people, and remember that even on the hard days... there is still beauty all around us.

Happy Friday ladies,

Did you know that joy doesn't check the weather before it blooms 🌻

My flowers in my flower bed are still blooming despite the storms we've had lately. Matter of fact... they needed the rain. Needed the uncomfortable days to grow deeper roots.

Maybe that's you too. Maybe this season isn't drowning you... maybe God is watering you 🌦️
