A special day at Cavalier Presbyterian as Rita Kihne was welcomed as a member of the congregation. The membership ceremony was led by Session moderator Mary Latozke assisted by Elder Roger Kihne. Rita has been active in our church, and it is with great pleasure that we welcome her as an official member! May God’s blessings enrich you, Rita.

Gunder Kemp received the Kindness and Civility Award in memory of Laurie Fontaine at the Cavalier High School awards ceremony as presented by Rita Kihne. Gunder was chosen by the Cavalier School staff and was awarded $300 by the Cavalier Presbyterian Church. The award was initiated a few years ago by Laurie who felt that kindness and civility were the foundation of a successful life. Congratulations, Gunder!
