1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

God is absolute truth and moral purity. Walking in the light means living openly in God’s truth and moral standards, which results in communal fellowship with other believers and the ongoing, active cleansing power of Jesus' sacrifice. This verse calls believers to live according to God's ways. If we walk in obedience with what we have, God will make up for what we lack. True fellowship is based on walking in the light of Christ. The word translated “fellowship” is a form of koinonia. Koinonia is “the idea of sharing in spiritual blessings, mutual support, and active partnership in the faith. God’s household has no room for lies, deceit, hypocrisy, or unconfessed sin. Mutual accountability and encouragement are essential for having fellowship with one another. Having fellowship with one another also means extending the same grace and forgiveness we have received from Christ to others.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible truth of Your word. Lord thank You for Your grace that helps us believers to walk daily in Your light. May our fellowship with one another be strengthened as we journey together, and may we continually rely on the purifying power of the blood of Jesus, Your Son, to cleanse us from all sin. Thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus name. Amen

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Now Paul urges the Galatians not to grow tired of doing good. He is urging them to keep living in a way that is consistent with what they believe because the good works that they are doing in the power of the Spirit will also bear fruit. Doing good involves yielding to the Spirit and exhibiting the fruit He produces—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Believers need this exhortation to not grow weary in doing good because “the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”. Let’s remember the joyful harvest we will reap if we persevere in doing good, our labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Heavenly Father, You are good. Everything that You do is good. Lord, please give me the strength to keep doing what is right in Your sight. Help me not to quit, even when I cannot see the results yet. Fill my heart with fresh hope and trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan for Your glory. In Jesus name. Amen
