We had a great time at our annual Trunk-or-Treat this year. It was so great getting a sneak peek at everyone's costumes! We hope everyone has a very safe and just the right amount of spooky Halloween tomorrow!

We're only a week away from BINGO! Everyone is invited to come along to Gable Point and play. It's $1 a board and the games get pretty intense! There is no limit to the number of boards you can play either.

We play bingo at Gable Point on every first Thursday. Some months we have birthdays, during the summer we have a BBQ, and over the winter stay tuned for our annual caroling too!

ICYMI - Confirmation Sunday was this past Sunday and we had the honor of witnessing Wyatt commit to his faith. Congratulations Wyatt! It's be a joy watching you grow and we can't wait to be alongside you as you deepen your connection to God.

Next month, on November 15th we're going to be joining a number of churches and groups across the county for a Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) service. Transgender Day of Remembrance (officially on November 20th) is a day dedicated to honoring those whose lives were lost to transphobic violence.
As we mourn those we have lost, we also recommit to advocating for safety, dignity, and equity for our transgender neighbors, family members, colleagues, and friends.

This year, we will gather at Bethany Lutheran Church. All are welcome and encouraged to come.

Sunday is the last day to bring your winter gear for the Girl Scouts' drive. We'll have bins in the narthex if you want to bring them to worship with you! The items will be distributed to community members in need at the Cary Food Pantry.

Join us for a painting night with Chasing Creativity Art Studio on Sunday, November 8 at 2pm! We will be painting a beautiful nativity scene featuring the star of wonder, baby Jesus in the manger, and two lambs beneath a deep blue night sky. Cost is $20 per person and covers canvases, instruction, and use of provided supplies. Payment is due ahead of time, so please RSVP by November 2nd to reserve your spot! We will need a minimum of 10 kids to participate, so bring your friends!

All Saints Day is Sunday, November 1st. Each year we put together a slideshow of those who have gone before us. If you have a loved one you'd like added to our slideshow this year, please email your photos to the office by October 26th!

We'll play the slideshow at worship and light candles in memory of our family and friends.

This SATURDAY! Head to St. Barnabas for a FREE family friendly trunk-or-treat event! All are welcome to walk through and collect candy and non-food goodies. Costumes strongly encouraged!

We've got 9 trunks signed up so far, we're hoping to have 3 more to fill out the space, if you were planning on having a trunk let us know! Trunks aren't just for ministries of St. Barnabas! Your family can host one or your business can host one too (we do ask that businesses refrain from handing out advertsing materials and any sort of campaigning is strictly prohibited).
