This Sunday is a Family Service Sunday!

The Elementary and PreK classrooms will not be open this Sunday, but they will resume next Sunday. The Toddlers and Babies rooms will still be open. If your child is 3 years old or older, they will remain with you during the service.

Please plan accordingly. We will have coloring sheets and kids’ sermon notes available in the back of the auditorium.

From our Redemption Hill Church's Theological Statement, about God's Sovereignty:

We enthusiastically embrace the sovereignty of God in all things, including God’s grace in saving sinners. We affirm that God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, not on the basis of foreseen faith but unconditionally, according to his sovereign good pleasure and will. We believe that God’s sovereignty over our salvation neither nullifies the responsibility of people to believe the gospel nor marginalizes the need and power of prayer and evangelism, but rather reinforces and establishes them as the ordained means by which God accomplishes his ordained ends. (Isaiah 46:10, John 1:12-13; John 6:37-44; John 10:25-30; Acts 13:48; Ephesians 1:1-14; Ephesians 2:1-8; Philippians 2:12-13, Titus 3:3-7)

Then please join us for Discipleship and Donuts Class 1 on May 31, 2026 from 8:30–9:45am. We will discuss our polity as a church - how we are led. In addition, we will also discuss our theological convictions as a church - what we believe. Donuts, coffee, and childcare are provided. Thinking of visiting? Each Sunday morning at Redemption Hill Church, the sermons are expository, or expositional, meaning that we seek to declare or explain the meaning of a specific passage in Scripture verse-by-verse while also considering the passage’s and author’s original intent, in addition to its historical and grammatical context. Throughout the year, we alternate our Sermon series between books in the Old and New Testaments. Sermons generally last between 45-50 minutes, driven by the good news of God’s saving us through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Mark 13 14-27 ultimately reminds us of three realities:

1: Jesus is just, Jesus is gracious, and Jesus is better than everything this world offers.

2: His return is both a warning and a hope.

3: Therefore, believers are called to hold loosely to temporary things and long for the day they will see Christ face to face, trusting that the King who judges rebellion also mercifully preserves His people.
