A Prayer for Memorial Day: Gracious God, on this Memorial Day we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. May we honor their sacrifice not just with words, but with lives committed to peace, justice, and the care of one another. Hold in your tender embrace all who grieve those they have lost. Amen.

Gracious God, on this Mother’s Day, we give thanks for mothers and for all who offer mothering love, care, wisdom, and encouragement.

Bless those who celebrate today, comfort those for whom this day is tender or painful, and surround every person with the promise of your love.

Help us care for one another with patience, compassion, and grace, so that all may know they are seen, valued, and loved.
Amen.
