Join the next OLMC Exodus group that will start on January 17, 2022! With this start date, we will journey through Lent and finish on Holy Saturday... just in time to celebrate Easter!!
The Exodus program consists of a small group of men who come together to challenge and support each other as they embark on a 90-day journey of asceticism (disciplines) and prayer.
The goal of Exodus is to free us from attachment to things that are holding us back from a deeper relationship with Christ and to help us form holy habits that can sustain us as we try to live the vocation God has called us to.
Throughout the 90 days, you will have access to a daily scripture passage from the book of Exodus followed by a short reflection through the Exodus app. Groups meet during the week for a quick check-in and discussion. Fr. DeOreo, our associate pastor at OLMC, who has participated in Exodus 90 multiple times and is passionate about this experience, will serve as Spiritual Director for our groups.
Personally, my zeal for this program stems from the fruits I have seen it generate in the lives of the men in my group and in my own life. This 90-day experience (and the lasting brotherhood that forms during it) helps men to intimately know Christ and become evermore intentionally His disciples. It helps develop strong, holy, men of God that are able to surrender their will to Christ and sacrifice for others. It creates an atmosphere in which men find themselves freer to respond to God's call... free to become the priests, husbands, fathers, leaders, and mentors that our society and Church so desperately need today.
