Summer sermon series launches this weekend‼️🚨

This Sunday our "Greatest Hits" sermon series kicks off. In movies, sports, music, and more, we enjoy returning to the greatest hits. In this series, we will revisit the Greatest Hits of the Bible each weekend. This means we get to return to the greatest accounts, messages, and truths of God’s Word. It’s more than fun and nostalgia, it’s an absolute blessing to hear again the good word from God!

Don't mind us, just reminiscing on how much fun we had at Connection Sunday last weekend😌 Disciples gathered together during the Education Hour to connect with each other over food and interactive activities. Even if it meant hot dogs at 9:30 a.m.!

On April 12, 2026, we announced we'd receive Trinity Lutheran Church and School as our fifth ministry site. For the last 18 months, we've supported their students, staff, and congregation by providing pastoral ministry and care. As we get closer to finalizing the legal merger, Trinity Lutheran Church and School will shift to Cornerstone Lutheran Church and School. More information will be communicated in the coming weeks, but for now, we’re excited about what this means for our school and church body!

This Memorial Day weekend, Pastor Scott shared his message from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as our city prepared for the 110th running of the Indy 500. We continued in our series, "Remember Your First Love" and learned that God alone is trustworthy.

This weekend we're wrapping up our "Remember Your First Love" sermon series and exploring the theme, “Trust the Spirit.” Trust is essential. It is critical in everyday life, in racing and in our calling as a church. God has shown us that he is trustworthy! He has kept his promises to us and so we can boldly carry out God’s mission, trusting in the work of the Holy Spirit.

ALSO THIS WEEKEND is Connection Sunday! As a church, we're encouraging disciples to connect with each other over food and interactive activities during the Education Hour. Here at Carmel we're having a Backyard BBQ. Enjoy some burgers and hot dogs while playing games like corn hole, giant Jenga, and more with other CLC disciples.

🏌️‍♂️Fore! Registration for the annual Cornerstone Student Ministry Golf Scramble is open! Join us Friday, June 26 at 9 a.m. at the beautiful Eagle Creek Golf Club.

Your participation in the Student Ministry Golf Scramble allows us to provide our students the chance to participate in gatherings and service events. Our goal is to send students on stateside and foreign mission trips in 2026-27 and begin raising funds for the 2028 Youth Gathering in San Antonio.

That's a wrap on Guatemala! 🌄 Our mission team returned safely this weekend after spending a week leading VBS at a local school, spending time with students, building relationships, and repairing the sacristy at the church in the village of El Trapiche.

Thank you for praying, supporting, and encouraging this mission along the way. Please continue praying for the communities we partnered with and for the lasting impact of this trip — both in Guatemala and in the hearts of those who served.💙
