I love my time with my friends at The O'Connor House!!

We love it when Eternity Comfort Dog comes to visit! Baby boy is learning to track sounds and was trying to see who his mama was talking to instead of taking his nap! We are so looking forward to watching him grow and learn to love Eternity as much as we do!

Happy Labor Day, everyone!

Today I’m taking a little time to celebrate all the amazing people who work hard every day to make our communities better! Whether you’re caring for others, teaching, protecting, building, serving, or simply doing your very best each day—your work matters!

One of my favorite things about being a Comfort Dog is meeting so many people who give their time and talents to help others. You inspire me with your kindness, dedication, and big hearts!

So today, I hope you get some time to slow down, enjoy the people you love, and maybe squeeze in an extra-long nap. (I’m pretty good at those! )

I love visiting my friends at Plainfield Fire Territory and getting lots of pets and hugs. But most of all, I love reminding these amazing firefighters that they are appreciated and cared for.

Thank you for all you do to keep our communities safe! I’m always happy to stop by and bring a little comfort, a lot of love, and plenty of tail wags!

We’re up bright and early, checking out all the activity in the neighborhood from our deck! It’s a pretty great way to start a Monday morning and get ready for another week of loving, serving, and sharing God’s comfort wherever we go.

We’re curious… what are YOU looking forward to this week? Tell us below! ⬇️

Happy National Dog Day! Today is the perfect day to celebrate all the wonderful things about being a dog! I may love balls, tummy rubs, walks, and making new friends, but my favorite part of being a dog is getting to serve others as one of the LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs!

God has given me a very special job—to bring smiles, comfort, hope, and a little bit of love wherever I go. Whether I’m sitting quietly beside someone who needs a friend, giving out hugs, or making someone smile with my wagging tail, I’m reminded every day how blessed I am to serve.

So on National Dog Day, I hope you take a moment to give your favorite dog an extra hug, a special treat, and maybe even a little extra attention. And remember to thank God for the amazing gift of dogs!

We’re all ready and waiting for our ride! Today, we’re heading back to the Ravenswood neighborhood to spend more time with our friends who are recovering from the historic flooding.

We know that simply being there—offering a friendly face, a comforting paw, and a little relief during a really difficult time—can make a difference. And while this week has meant a LOT of traveling around our community we have been to Carmel, Noblesville, Fishers, and Indy, we wouldn’t have it any other way. When our neighbors are hurting, we want to be there.

One of the reasons we’re focusing some extra time in Ravenswood is because this area is currently more underserved when it comes to volunteers compared with some of the other neighborhoods affected by the flooding. While we’re so encouraged by the incredible outpouring of support in other areas, there are still families here who need an extra hand, a listening ear, and a reminder that their community hasn’t forgotten them.

Being comfort dogs for a multi-site church comes with a BIG responsibility, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to serve wherever we’re needed. We want everyone in our community to know that they are loved, cared for, and NOT alone.

Cornerstone Lutheran Church family, if you have some time today or tomorrow, come join us! Our neighbors in Ravenswood could really use your help, and it’s only about a 15-minute drive from our Carmel site. There is plenty of work to do, and every extra set of hands makes a difference!

We’ll be there with lots of love, lots of tail wags, and hopefully a little hope along the way.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” — Ephesians 2:10
