On Sunday, August 9th, we held our Family Fun Day for our families. This year we celebrated Carbondale’s 175th Birthday with Mayor Michele Bannon and honored our first responders. We started with 11:30am Mass that had our students as lectors, cantor, gift bearers, altar servers, and collectors. During Mass Fr. Mosley blessed our first responders.

After Mass all gathered for a social with lunch, children’s activities, a cake cutting for the city’s birthday, and there were fire trucks and police cars on site as well for the children to see up close and explore. The day ended with Scoopz Ice Cream truck with ice cream.

A very big thank you to all who were involved to make this day something truly special for our community!

Reminder that this weekend is the last weekend for expressing interest in attending our Summer Sunday Funday next Sunday 8/9! Sign up/get adult tickets at all weekend Masses!

Coming up on Sunday, August 9th is our Summer Sunday Funday! This year we are celebrating the 175th birthday of Carbondale by honoring the police, firemen, and DPW staff who keep our community safe.

We will celebrate the 11:30am Mass and follow with a picnic lunch on the lawn outside of the Parish Rectory.

Children in Kindergarten - 8th grades in our Parish are invited as guests to the party at no cost. Parents and Grandparents are $10. Tickets are available at the Parish Office or after Masses the weekends of July 25/26 and August 1/2. Last day for ticket sales is 8/2.

Come and help Mayor Michele Bannon and Fr. Mosley blow out the candles on the birthday cake! Participate in children's games and activities, a special secret event, and enjoy Scoopz ice cream truck!
