Upper Valley National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 2

On Thursday, May 2nd, the 16th annual observance of the National Day of
Prayer sponsored by the Greater Carbondale Area Ministerium, will be
held at the Carbondale train station, Trinity Place.

The Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”, a
blessing that is not only for nations, but communities, families, and
individuals as well. Everyone is invited to attend the inspirational
service of music, Scripture, and prayer featuring many local members of
the community.

Preceding the service and beginning at 6:30 p.m. local church musicians
will present a half-hour concert of well-known hymns and contemporary
Christian music. Please bring your own seating for outdoors. If the
weather is inclement, the service will be held in the sanctuary of the
Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Place.
