JOINT BIBLE STUDY TODAY!!!
Today, 3 of our Day Hab programs got to come together for Bible study! We learned all about Noah and the Ark and how Noah trusted God and did what He told him to do, even when it didn’t make sense!
Our biggest takeaway from today: Just like God saved Noah and his family, He will do the same for us! If God tells you to do something, DO IT! 🙌🏼
We’re so thankful for sweet days like this spent learning about Jesus together!!

Next up… it’s Transition Expo time! We hope to see a lot of families join us this year.

Hey families, this one is for you!

Our 2026 Transition Expo is coming up soon, and it's never too early to start thinking about what comes after high school.

We've made some exciting changes this year! We've added:
• Breakout sessions on important transition topics
• Childcare during the event
• Transportation assistance for those who need it

This expo isn't just for families of students who are currently in school. If your child graduated several years ago, we encourage you to come too! Cape County has many resources and opportunities available today that may not have existed even 10 years ago.

If you've attended before, come again! Each year brings new providers, updated information, and new opportunities to connect with organizations that can help your family navigate the transition to adulthood.

We'd love to see you there!

Cape County’s 2nd annual dayhab talent show was a huge success! Thank you to the volunteers that worked so hard to make today possible ❤️

Tomorrow is the big day! The show will run from 10-11:30, then we will break for lunch and return from 1:00-2:30. I hope that our community comes out to cheer for and support our friends from Blue Sky Community Services, Horizons Enrichment Center,Aspirations for Independent Living LLC, SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence (SADI), and Regency Beyond Borders. I’ve seen the line-up and it is going to be amazing. Thank you to the Cape Girardeau County Board for Developmental Disabilities for funding our 2nd Annual Talent Show. We hope you all can come too 🎤 💃 🎹

What are your hobbies?
Flower gardening, reading and anything related to my grandkids

How long have you served in Access?
Over 6 years

What made you want to serve in Access?
I have a heart for serving those with special needs and have for most of my life. I was so excited when I found out Lynwood had a special needs ministry.

Favorite part of serving in Access?
I am blessed every time I am with the Access team. Seeing their heartfelt love of God, their overwhelming joy just to be in Access and their love and care for each other.
