Wisdom is not something that simply happens to us, it is the result of pursuing God and allowing His truth to shape our hearts. This week in our series "Wise or Otherwise" Solomon reveals a powerful pattern for spiritual growth.

If you Seek God → then you will Know God → and as a result you will be Transformed by God.

God invites us into a deeper relationship with Him, where wisdom moves beyond information and becomes transformation.

"Wise or Otherwise - A Mind Shaped By Truth" - Week 02

What is shaping your mind? In a world filled with endless voices, distractions, and competing truths, the book of Proverbs reminds us that true wisdom begins by trusting God rather than leaning on our own understanding.

Join us Sunday as we explore how God’s truth shapes our minds. We will consider how wisdom grows when we intentionally fill our thoughts with God’s truth instead of the noise of the world.

Wisdom requires a mind shaped by truth.

Today we pause to remember and honor all of those who sacrificed their lives so that we may have freedom in this country.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

In honor of the fallen, may we live a life full of gratitude, humility, and faith.

Wise or Otherwise - Week 01

Everybody wants wisdom. We want to make good decisions, build healthy relationships, raise our families well, and navigate life successfully. But where are we looking for wisdom and how are we defining it?
This Sunday we begin a summer series in the book of Proverbs entitled "Wise or Otherwise." Join us this summer as we discover that true wisdom, biblical wisdom, is far more than just knowledge or good advice.
In a world full of opinions, voices, and competing truths, Proverbs calls us to live skillfully in God’s world by trusting Him in every area of life - because true wisdom means being shaped by the truth.

Practical Generosity - Week 6

This Sunday we conclude our series “Entrusted.” Throughout this series we’ve explored ownership, stewardship, opportunity, generosity, and trust. This week I have invited Pastor Pete and Pastor Derek to join me for an honest, practical, and I hope encouraging discussion about living these truths out in everyday life.

We will talk about the joys and challenges of generosity, how money shapes our discipleship, and what we have learned about contentment and trust. Whether you are just beginning your journey of stewardship or have practiced generosity for many years, this conversation is designed to encourage, equip, and inspire each of us to a growing stewardship of all that God has entrusted to us.

Why Stewardship Matters - Week 4

This week we continue our series Entrusted as we turn our attention to what the Bible says about stewardship specifically. This Sunday we will look to God’s Word to see what it says about the perspective of a faithful steward, the motivation of a faithful steward, and the life of a faithful steward. We also have the blessing of sharing in Holy Communion together this Sunday.

Challenging Our View of Money - Week 2

This week, as we continue in our series "Entrusted," we will examine the “lens” through which we view money. We will look at its purpose, goals, priorities, and impact on our hearts. The world promises security, identity, and happiness through wealth, but Scripture points us to something far greater: freedom, joy, and purpose through faithful stewardship.
As our view of money aligns with God’s truth, we begin to experience the life He designed for us. A life marked by trust, generosity, and eternal perspective.

Entrusted - Week 1
This Sunday we begin a six-week series titled “Entrusted,” focused on what the Bible teaches regarding financial stewardship. This is an area Scripture speaks about often because it deeply shapes our spiritual lives.

Too often financial stewardship gets pushed aside or misunderstood as a conversation about church finances. It’s not, or at least it shouldn’t be. It is about our hearts and our spiritual health. Ultimately, this series is an invitation to experience greater freedom in Christ because whether we like it or not church, we have been “Entrusted.”
