All Rise - Introduction

Our world often views surrender as defeat, weakness, or giving up. But as we begin our journey through the Gospel of Matthew, we will discover a radically different definition of surrender. Matthew introduces us to the King who possesses all authority and calls us to a life of willing allegiance.
Surrender to King Jesus is not about losing ourselves. It is about giving ourselves to the One who created us, loves us, and knows who He designed us to be. Join us this Sunday as we begin a new series All Rise: The King and His Kingdom.

Making Wise Choices - Week 14

Are you making wise choices? Every day we make choices that shape our lives, our relationships, our families, and our future. But what makes a choice truly wise? Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is more than having good information or making practical decisions. Wisdom begins with a right relationship with God. This Sunday, we will discover the biblical keys to making wise choices. The goal of biblical wisdom isn't to become so wise that we no longer need God. The goal of biblical wisdom is to become so dependent upon God that we trust Him with every decision we make.

In a culture that lives on a pendulum swinging between overwork and procrastination, the book of Proverbs calls us to something better, a life of faithful stewardship. Whether you are in the midst of a career, retired, raising kids, volunteering, or serving in a number of other ways, as a believer, God has given your life purpose.

This week we will consider how wisdom transforms our approach to responsibility, exposing the dangers of excuses, procrastination, and misplaced comfort, and reminding us that our work is ultimately an act of worship.
