🌊💙 My heart is so incredibly full! 💙🌊
As I sit here reflecting on today, I can’t help but thank God for everything He did through Ride the Waves of God’s Love VBS.
There were moments leading up to VBS when I was overwhelmed. There were late nights, early mornings, endless planning, decorating, shopping, worrying, praying, & wondering if everything would come together the way I had hoped. There were moments of stress that no one saw, but yesterday reminded me that God was in every single detail.
Seeing the fellowship hall filled with kids laughing, worshipping, learning about Jesus, making crafts, playing games, & simply being kids made every sleepless night & every stressful moment worth it.
I truly could not have done this alone. Thank you to every teacher, volunteer, kitchen worker, decorator, registration helper, & every single person who donated food, supplies, money, or simply prayed over this day. You gave your time, your energy, & your heart, because of that, so many children experienced the love of Jesus today.
To every parent, thank you for trusting us with your children. It was such an honor to spend the day with them & remind them that nothing can separate them from the love of God.
Being the Creek Kids Leader isn’t always easy, but days like this remind me exactly why God placed this ministry on my heart. Watching these children grow in their faith will always be worth every ounce of effort.
Most of all, thank You, Lord. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your goodness, & for allowing us to plant seeds that will continue to grow long after today. My prayer is that every child who walked through our doors left knowing they are loved, they are seen, & they have a Savior who will never leave them.
It wasn’t just another VBS.
It was lives being touched, seeds being planted, & hearts being pointed to Jesus.
& for that, I’ll forever be grateful. 🌊🤍
