First, I just want to say thank you. Truly, from the bottom of my heart to every single person who came out & supported our kids & youth this morning. Your presence means more than you will probably ever realize. When you show up, you’re not just filling a seat. You’re speaking life. You’re building confidence. You’re confirming purpose. You’re reminding these young hearts that what they carry matters. That their voices matter. That they matter.

There is something powerful about seeing a room full of people choose to support the next generation. In a world that can be so loud & distracting, you chose to sit, to listen, to encourage, & to celebrate what God is doing in their lives. That is not small. That is ministry.

To our kids & youth:
You didn’t just get on that stage; you stepped into your calling. You were bold. You were confident. You were on fire. You didn’t hide. You worshipped with passion & purity, & you allowed God to use you. That is something no one can take away from you.

When you lifted your voices, it wasn’t just a performance; it was worship. When you stood up there, it wasn’t about being perfect, it was about being willing. & God always uses willing hearts. I watched you, & I didn’t just see kids on a stage. I saw leaders. I saw world changers. I saw light shining in a dark world.

I am so incredibly proud of each one of you. Not just for what you did, but for who you are becoming.

& to the parents… thank you. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for the early mornings, the practices, the rides, the encouragement behind the scenes. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for allowing them to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Your “yes” matters more than you know.

Because you said yes to bringing them.
Because you said yes to letting them participate.
Because you said yes to making church a priority.

They were able to step into this special service & experience God in a real & personal way. Seeds were planted this morning. Confidence was built. Faith was strengthened. & moments like this shape their future in ways we may not fully see yet.

This is more than a program.
This is more than a Sunday.
This is purpose.
This is discipleship.
This is legacy.

We are planting seeds of faith, seeds of boldness, seeds of identity in Christ & this morning, we got to see those seeds shining bright. We got to see what happens when young people realize they are not “the church of tomorrow,” but they are the church right now.

I truly believe this is only the beginning. God is stirring something in this generation. He is raising them up to be unashamed, unafraid, & unwavering. If this is what we saw today, I can only imagine what He’s going to do next.

I am beyond thankful. Beyond proud.

This is just the start. ❤️

It’s easy to love people who are just like us. It’s harder to love the ones who are different.

In Luke 10, Jesus tells the story of the Good Samaritan. A man was hurt & left on the side of the road. Religious leaders walked right past him. But a Samaritan; someone others didn’t expect to help, stopped, cared for him, & paid for his needs.

The one who showed mercy was the true neighbor.

Jesus teaches us that our neighbor isn’t just our friends or people who agree with us. Our neighbor is anyone who needs love.

So when you see someone hurting.
Be the one who stops.
Be the one who shows mercy.
Be the one who loves.

We talked about the New & Old Testament tonight during class! 🫶🏻

The Bible has two big parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. They tell one big story about God & His love for people. The Old Testament shows how God made the world, how people messed up, & how God promised to send a Savior.

The New Testament tells us that Jesus is that Savior! It shares how Jesus was born, how He loved people, helped others, died on the cross, & came back to life so we could be forgiven & become new.

Because of Jesus, we don’t have to be afraid of our mistakes—God forgives us when we trust Him. & one day, God will make a brand-new heaven & earth where there will be no more tears, sickness, or pain. God will make everything new, just like He planned. What a happy day that will be! ❤️
