You will not always get to know God’s reasons for the things that He permits. God’s divine wisdom is beyond our human understanding. We ask why?

Why did this happen to me or why did He allow me to do certain things I regret? He may at some point in your life give you the understanding, and then you will know that God is also in the mistakes and the things that go wrong.

Only God can untie the knots of life which we don’t understand now. If not in this life, but in that heavenly home to come.

QUOTE: “The questions that’s been in our minds, ‘How can He do it? What would this?’ Somehow, mysteriously, they’ll all fade away. The knots that’s been tied in the back of our minds, ‘Will it be this? How could it be?’ Somehow, or another, majestic fingers will just untangle, unravel those knots, and it’ll all fade into the one big crown of love.”

Jeremiah the prophet said; “I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts… (Jeremiah 31:33).” The law at that time was on stone, but God wanted it in their hearts. “I will put my law, a new law in their hearts.” The heart is the abode of God, God dwells not in the head but in the heart.

Do not expose the heart to a desire for constant comfort, the pursuit of worldly prosperity or an obsession with the approval of others. Jesus Christ is the only source that can satisfy your soul.

QUOTE: And when Christ, the Holy Spirit, comes into your heart, He is in you with your temperament, and He is living His Own Life to His Own will, through you. Hallelujah! Know that sounds awful, but it’s right. Christ, so yielded you are, that Christ speaks the kind of Words He would speak, He thinks the kind of thoughts He would think through you, He does the kind of works He would do through you, you are yielded and resting. What a beautiful picture of a consecrated Christian: Yielded, Christ working through.

God has a provided way – that way has never changed. We change, churches change, and the world around us changes and those changes are difficult. Some for the good and others not so good.

As a pastor I am called to FEED the LORD’S sheep. The spiritual food the sheep need must not come from a textbook of some church or man. Those things change with the church that writes them. However, the written Word of God has been preserved and must be preached. That is God’s provided way.

I love the following quote from William Branham; “Shepherds, teach your sheep, get them in the Bible here. Get away from that old textbook of some church, and get down here in the Bible where God taught, and you won’t have those troubles.” - 54-0515 — Questions And Answers

I would like to write something straight to your heart for a moment. People need encouragement more than ever; however, they look for it in the wrong way. Encouragement means pouring courage into you, that is to give a person strength, confidence, hope, or motivation—especially when they feel weak, unsure, or discouraged.

Moses had died, Joshua was left in charge of a stubborn, impudent group of people, they were God’s people and he was given the job to lead them into a land, a land of promise that they would have to fight to possess. He needed encouragement. It came to him by the Word of God; “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee (Deuteronomy 31:6).”

We all have a job to do today, you want someone to tell you, “You can do it” a few good words always make a difference. Don’t look for it in the wrong place. Trust in God’s guidance, His presence provides strength and support in every situation. Therefore, rely on Christ for courage and perseverance today.

Take time to read the Bible, with a heart filled with the Holy Spirit. I have proved it many times as a source of unfailing strength in my greatest battles. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).”

ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS – PASTOR Bill Ivy - THURSDAY – JUNE 18, 2026
What is an “idol” today? I believe it is the same as it was when the Bible was written. In the Bible an Idol was; a person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or revered. More simply, it was an object of worship. Israel as a nation loved by Jehovah became guilty of idol worship which was called idolatry; which was an extreme admiration or reverence for something or someone.

God will not share that devotion with no one or nothing else. He is a Jealous God when it comes to worship (Exodus 34:14).

As believers we might not think we are idol worshipers, however, we better be careful and guard our heart when it comes to WORSHIP!

William Branham preached it like this, to a church that thought they were worshiping only God. “We may not think that we are idol worshippers, but we are. And the government endorses it. People today are idol worshippers, because they worship idols. Some of them worship movie stars, for idols. Some worship money, for idols. And some worship television stars, as idols. But all that you put before God is an idol, let it be whatever it may be.

Even to Satan, our great adversary, is such a smart one, until he even puts, sometimes, the church before God. You might have a great church. It may be a great building, or it may be a great denomination. And, again, it may be a great congregation, but let nothing come before God, in your heart. Anything in before God, is an idol.” - 59-0125 — Be Certain Of God

ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS – PASTOR Bill Ivy - WEDNESDAY – JUNE 17, 2026
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD (Psalms 122, 1). This was a song Israel sang as they traveled up to Mount Zion to worship. They were glad and they sang of their gladness to be able to worship Jehovah.

They were GLAD; they felt pleasure, joy and relief to worship because there were times in the Babylonian captivity when they could not. They were relieved that all is well, having the great privilege to travel, regardless of the sacrifice to the place provided for worship.

I wonder, can we be equally GLAD knowing there is a place provided for us to worship. We can all join in that ONE provided place, and that is in CHRIST.

I am looking forward with joy to our midweek service tonight!

ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS – PASTOR Bill Ivy - MONDAY – JUNE 15, 2026
As a pastor, I find so many people unhappy. Some have good reasons; others really do not. However, there are those that are happy in their inner being no matter what the unhappy circumstances are around them.

Helen Keller suffered much her entire life living in a world of darkness, unable to see or hear achieved wonderful success as a poet and writer. From a secular point of view, she made the following statement; “Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.”

What about a Christian, we have so much to be happy about, even if it is for that one reason, you belong the Christ. He is your comfort and peace when there seems to be none anywhere else.

I have always loved the following quote by William Branham; “…you were made to be happy and free. You were made to live like children before your Father, and know that He makes every day, everything work right for you each day.”
