❤️❤️ REFORMATION SUNDAY AT ABIDING SAVIOR! ❤️❤️

We were seeing RED at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church this past Sunday! ❤️

What a beautiful sight to see our congregation dressed in red as we celebrated Reformation Sunday!

Red symbolizes the Holy Spirit and reminds us of the faith, courage, and commitment of those who came before us. Reformation Sunday is a time to remember that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone! ✝️

As Lutherans, we celebrate our rich history while remembering that God is still working in and through His church today!

❤️ We are thankful for our church family, our faith, and the opportunity to worship together.

And just look at all those beautiful quilts decorating our sanctuary! What a wonderful reminder of God’s love being shared with others!

Happy Reformation Sunday from Abiding Savior Lutheran Church!

❤️ Rooted in faith. Saved by grace. Called to serve. ❤️

🧵🪡 55 Quilts, 3 Dedicated Quilters, and So Much Love! ❤️

Today at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, we had the blessing of praying over 55 beautiful quilts lovingly made by three talented members of our congregation! What a wonderful ministry of love and service! 💕

Did you know that the materials used to make these quilts are either purchased by our quilters themselves or generously donated by members of our church?

And this is where YOU can help! ❤️

We are always grateful for donations of fabric and quilting materials to help keep this wonderful ministry going! Our quilters work throughout the year creating these beautiful gifts that will eventually bless people they may never even meet.

🧵 Do you have fabric or material you would like to donate? We would graciously accept it! Simply send Abiding Savior Lutheran Church a message, and we will help make arrangements.

Donations are welcome ALL YEAR LONG!

Thank you to our three amazing quilters, everyone who has donated materials, and everyone who helps make this ministry possible!

Just imagine how many lives can be touched through a simple piece of fabric, loving hands, and God’s amazing grace! ❤️

Every piece of fabric has the potential to become a blessing! 🪡✝️

🧵💕 55 Quilts. 3 Faithful Church Members. Countless Lives Blessed. 💕

What a beautiful and meaningful Sunday at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church!

Today, we had the privilege of blessing 55 gorgeous quilts, lovingly handmade by just THREE of our church members! ❤️

And let me tell you, these pictures do NOT do these quilts justice! Each one is absolutely beautiful, and the time, talent, and love poured into every stitch are truly amazing.

But the blessing didn’t stop with the quilts!

Pastor Tami delivered a remarkable sermon today, sharing how these very quilts helped inspire her message as she prepared her sermon this week. It was such a powerful reminder of how God works through ordinary people doing extraordinary things in His name. If you haven’t watched today’s sermon, PLEASE take the time to watch it. You will be blessed! ❤️

These 55 quilts will soon be shipped to Lutheran World Relief, where they will make their way into the hands of people we may never meet.

And here’s what really touches my heart…

The people who receive these quilts didn’t ask us for them. They don’t know us. We don’t know them. Yet they will receive a beautiful gift, made with love, simply because someone cared enough to give.

Isn’t that a beautiful picture of God’s grace? A gift freely given, not because it was earned or requested, but simply out of love. ❤️

Thank you to our three incredible quilt makers for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Your ministry will reach far beyond the walls of Abiding Savior!

55 quilts. 55 gifts of love. 55 reminders that someone cares. 🧵❤️

What a blessing it is to be part of a church that continues to share God’s love with the world!

Reformation Sunday is next week! …and the church wears RED!

Monica and Tricia wore red a week early to lead by example! 😉❤️ (so if you see them in the same shirt next week, it’s ok!)

💜 Pastor Appreciation Month Continues! 💜

We love our Pastor Tami! ❤️

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and there is still time to show Pastor Tami just how much she means to our Abiding Savior Lutheran Church family!

We are so thankful for her faithful leadership, caring heart, encouraging words, and the many ways she shares God’s love with our congregation and community.

🙏 The month isn’t over yet! If you would like to show your appreciation, there is still time! A thoughtful card, a kind word, a special gift, or simply letting her know how she has made a difference in your life can mean so much.

Let’s continue to shower Pastor Tami with love, encouragement, and gratitude throughout October!

Pastor Tami, we love you, appreciate you, and thank God for you! ❤️
