F.B.C. Volunteers are Needed to Assist with the Hot Air Affair in Cameron on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. We will have the Soccer Dartboard set-up on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. With 90 minute or two-hour shifts, we will need a total of twelve workers. Youth and older children are invited to help! On Saturday we will have the Soccer Dartboard set-up again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will also be providing a dinner for the balloon pilots and their crews. Meal prep will begin at 1 p.m. in the FBC kitchen and wrap-up at the airport around 7 p.m. We will also have a balloon artist making balloons for children from 3 to 7p.m. on Saturday. Refer to the sign-up sheets in the Welcome Center and select a task and time to be a part of this event! Questions? Contact Pastor Terry.

God values life. Unfortunately, chemical abortions now account for nearly two-thirds of all U.S. abortions, driven largely by mail-order pills shipped into every state, often in violation of local safeguards. How does the church respond to this continued disregard for the unborn? We remind expectant mothers and fathers of options - like the Pregnancy Resource Center in Cameron and St. Joseph. You can be a part of the effort by filling a baby bottle with coins, cash, and checks to support the efforts of the P.R.C. Use the baby bottle as a reminder to have conversations about the sanctity of life and how God values the life of the baby while still in the mother's womb. We request that bottles be returned to F.B.C. on or before Father's Day (June 21st).

Psalm 139:13-16 - "For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works, and my soul knows it very well. First Baptist Church is preparing for a RUMMAGE SALE on Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23rd. We need BOXES! If you have some that you can donate for the cause, we can use them immediately. You can drop them off at the church office during regular office hours or contact the office if other arrangements need to be made.
