Memorial Day... Today we take time to remember and to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defending the freedoms we enjoy. We also pray for the families of these service members as they grieve their loved ones.

Your love moves toward the vulnerable- do you care for those in need? Your life resists moral compromise- do you stand strong on your convictions, not choosing to compromise when it would be easier or more comfortable?

Part 2 of 3... How do we PRACTICE a posture of meekness? We are called to be doers of the Word. Studying our Bibles is part of it, but we have to allow the information we receive transform the way we live our lives. Are you allowing the Bible to transform the areas of your life that aren't in line with God's direction for you?

Part 1 of 3... We must first take a POSTURE of meekness before God. This means we put aside our own emotion-driven desires and seek God's direction for our lives daily. If God is the Lord of our lives, our purpose is to reflect Him in all we do.
