Rising high school sophomores Assiry Genelus and Raleigh Solomon join their youth and young adult minister, Millet LoCasale, in talking about leadership, gifts and talents, and the powerful role young people play in the Church.

Today, the Church celebrates World Day for on the feast of .

The theme chosen by for the 6th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly – “I will never forget you” (Is 49:15) – reminds us that the Lord knows each of us personally, forgets no one, and loves us unconditionally.

We too are reminded to truly value the elderly, not through occasional gestures, but as a central part of our lives.

May we appreciate older generations as vital keepers of our history, witnesses to our faith, and teachers for our lives.

Looking for a place to grow in your faith, build authentic friendships, and ask honest questions?

Young adults (ages 18-35) are invited to Vigilare: Keeping Watch with Young Adults on Saturday, July 18, from 7–9 p.m. at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 500 Greentree Rd, Glassboro.

The evening will include live music, Eucharistic Adoration (Holy Hour), Night Prayer, food, and fellowship. Together, participants will explore why so many young adults are rediscovering the Catholic faith, the importance of authentic, in-person community in today's digital world, and how an encounter with Jesus can lead to lasting hope and purpose.

Whether you're practicing your faith, returning to the Church, or simply searching for something more, you are welcome. Bring a friend and experience an evening of faith, friendship, and hope!

Young adults across the Diocese of Camden are seeking faith, community, truth and a place to ask real questions. In this episode, Mike Walsh and co-host Kari Janisse welcome Father Allain Caparas, Father Peter Gallagher, and seminarian Theo Deluhery for a conversation about a new diocesan young adult initiative designed to meet that moment.

The initiative, called Vigilare, will launch with a special event on Saturday, July 18, from 7-9 p.m. at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish’s Our Lady of Lourdes Church Campus in Glassboro. The evening will include a Holy Hour, music, Night Prayer, opportunities for confession, food and social time for young adults ages 18-35.

The group discusses why so many young adults are showing renewed interest in the Catholic faith, the importance of in-person community in a digital world, and the need for spaces where young people can encounter Christ, build real friendships and ask honest questions without fear.
