Today we honor mothers…
We celebrate the women who have nurtured, carried, protected, prayed, sacrificed, stayed faithful, and poured themselves out in love. We thank God for biological mothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, grandmothers, and spiritual mothers who have shaped lives through wisdom, presence, and prayer.
We also recognize that Mother’s Day can carry many emotions at once.
For some, today is joyful.
For others, it is deeply painful.
Today we honor:
• Mothers who are exhausted yet faithful
• Spiritual mothers who have helped raise sons and daughters in the faith
• Women longing to become mothers
• Mothers who have experienced miscarriage or the loss of a child
• Those grieving the loss of their mother or missing her deeply today
• Those navigating strained, broken, or complicated relationships with their mother
• Single mothers carrying heavy responsibilities
• Women who quietly nurture and care for others without recognition
We believe honor and honesty can exist together.
We can celebrate motherhood while also making room for grief, longing, healing, and hope.
If today is beautiful for you, we rejoice with you.
If today is heavy, you are not forgotten.
And if today is a mixture of both, there is grace for that too.
“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” Romans 12v15
To the women who reflect the heart of God through compassion, strength, sacrifice, and love. You are seen, valued, and appreciated.
