This week, we continue our study of the Book of Proverbs, being in Chapter 13, verses 3 through 12.
Have we ever stopped to think what the cost is for going our own way and leaving God out of it? In past weeks during our study, we've learned that leaning on God's wisdom leads to life, and rebellion leads to ruin.
After the first verses in our text this week, discussing watching what we say, keeping our hands busy, guarding our heart, keep from going for the shortcut when laboring, we may find ourselves a little weary. Solomon wants us to know that hope and desire can rescue us as a tree of life, if we'll just endure. We who are saved know that's in the form of Christ Jesus. Be with us in God's House Sunday morning to learn more. (Facebook Live and our YouTube channel also available.)
9:30AM Sunday School with Brother Frank. Little's with Ms. Marsha during morning worship.
Please pay close attention to our prayer requests we'll mention both tonight and also this Sunday morning. Continue to pray for Jeff and Donya, Tom Thomas, Toni James and her foot, and many others discussed this Sunday morning.
Please continue to be cognizant of your tithes and offerings whether in person or online if you are a church member or someone who feels led to give. Very secure giving at www.flaggspringsbaptist.org. You may also text your gift securely at 859-208-2860.
