COME AS YOU ARE — BUT DON’T STAY AS YOU ARE!

For the last two weeks, we’ve been walking through Romans 12:1–2 and asking a simple but challenging question:

Is my life becoming more like Jesus?

We’ve talked about surrendering our lives to God.

We’ve talked about refusing to let the world determine the pattern for how we live.

Today, we finish the journey.

Paul says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Because Jesus doesn’t just want to change what we do on the outside—He wants to transform who we are from the inside out.

Maybe the question today isn’t, “What needs to change around me?”

Maybe it's:

“Jesus, what needs to change IN ME?”

Come as you are. Bring the questions. Bring the struggles. Bring the broken places. Bring the things you haven't figured out yet.

Jesus will meet you right where you are.

But He loves you too much to leave you there.

🏠 WE’RE HOME — AND WE CAN’T WAIT FOR CHURCH THIS MORNING! 🙌

After a wonderful few weeks away—time to rest, be refreshed, spend time with family, and finish our trip at the 80th General Assembly of the Church of God—we are HOME!

We are rested, encouraged, renewed, and incredibly excited about what God has ahead for Common Ground!

And THIS MORNING, we’re beginning a brand-new sermon series about something I believe God is calling all of us to:

🔥 Going deeper. Growing stronger. Bringing our lives into alignment with Jesus.

📖 Romans 12:1–2

At Common Ground, we have always believed you can come exactly as you are.

Broken? Come.
Struggling? Come.
Full of questions? Come.
Haven’t been to church in years? Come.
Still trying to figure out this whole Jesus thing? Come.

There is room for you here.

But there’s another beautiful part of the Gospel:

❤️ Jesus loves us enough to receive us exactly where we are—and He loves us too much to leave us there.

What area of your life might God be asking you to surrender?

What has been shaping your thinking?

And what could happen if you allowed the Holy Spirit to truly transform you from the inside out?

Today we’re going to ask one simple but powerful question:

“Jesus, what area of my life needs to come back into alignment with You?”

If you’ve been looking for a Sunday to come back to church...

Make it this one.

Come as you are. Bring your family. Bring a friend.

We’re HOME, we’re excited, and we can’t wait to worship Jesus with our Common Ground family this morning! 🙌
