We had a great start to September with community activities! Our food pantry team packed bags and served 250 families at our drive thru pickup. The yard sale last Saturday was our biggest ever! 35 people set up tables to sell items and 400 people visited. A big thanks to Rick for offering CPR demonstrations and blood pressure checks. Liberty Grove raised about $1,400 for community programs through reservations for spaces and Thrift Store sales, which we will continue to invest in serving others. We are excited to continue these outreach activities and can’t wait to see you at the yard sale next month!

Vacation Bible School is coming up August 18–20 from 6:00–7:30 PM! This year’s theme is Adventure Island, and we’re planning lots of fun for kids from Pre-K through middle school . Adults can get involved too!

High schoolers are welcome to volunteer and can earn SSL hours. If you’d like to help, please contact Christine Genua or the church office. There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you want to lead an activity during VBS, help with setup beforehand, prepare crafts for the kids, or lend a hand in another way.

Invite your friends and family and join us for some end-of-summer fun and fellowship! We’d love to see you there!

Do something life-saving this summer without ever hitting the beach. The Red Cross is always in need of blood donations and on July 14th you can help. Visit us 1pm-6pm as a walk-in or make an appointment. Each donation gives others a fighting change in a health crisis.
