Several Metro D.C. Synod leaders alongside Bishop Hirsch gathered at BLM square on Monday to support the Poor People's Campaign's Moral Monday against unholy war and societal violence. Another opportunity to try your hand on the steel pan with Darren!
Cost is $60 for one person, or $100 for 2 people for this 1 hr 30 min class. Space is limited.
This class is a fun, low-pressure introduction to the steelpan, designed to build interest in a future youth, adult, and/or inter-generational community steelband program.
All materials are provided—just show up ready to learn, collaborate, and find the rhythm in your soul. No musical experience is needed. This will be a team-based, supportive environment focused on community connection and shared learning.
If you have attended the previous one, this will be the same format but you are encouraged to try out another steelpan.
