Christian Fellowship: do you remember a time when someone said these 2 words and it meant something special?

If yes, that’s because Koinonia is meant to stand out and mean something special. With God’s help, these kind of relationships impact our lives in really positive was and bless us. Not everyone has experienced close bonds with friends or family but even if you have these type of relationship, Koinonia with Christians is meant to be the closest bond where mistakes or our natural human feels of self doubt are over shadowed with grace and love; we grow in the likeness of Jesus together.

One way we experience this fellowship is with a small group who shares and studies together. There are so many possibilities for small groups and at Brick Church you can get plugged or start a new one.

Be in prayer for God to guide you to the right group, or maybe he has laid it on your heart to start one. We will be in prayer for your christian fellowship as well. Love. Share. Grow.

This week we’ve been looking at Koinonia as fellow believers; developing meaningful relationships and deeper understandings of each other. It’s an important part of growing as Christians. One way we do that is to work along side one another.

There’s no shortage of ways to serve along side other believers, and we have lots of options right here at Brick Church. Whether you serve on a committee, a missions outreach, or have a duty on a Sunday morning, you should work with fellowship in mind (and not working alone or without support).

But if you haven’t gotten involved in serving alongside other Christians, we invite you to find somewhere you can help. And everyone has something to offer: even if it is simply to pray for your group. Love. Share. Grow.
