Pentecost was absolutely extraordinary! If you were unable to be there, you can worship online with this link. Many, many thanks to all who came and participated. And huge thanks to Annette, Allison, and John who stayed at BLC to greet those who didn’t know we were at MVFUMC and came to our building - it takes a whole team to be a community!
The Sunday after Pentecost is always Trinity Sunday. It’s the only Sunday where we intentionally explore a specific theological concept. And wow, is the Trinity ever a challenging one! How does anyone understand God as three persons, and yet still only be one entity? Metaphors just don’t cut it. So how do we approach the topic of the Trinity? Maybe it’s less about understanding, and more about experience. I’ve found a great deal of spiritual nourishment in preparing this sermon - the Trinity is more personal than we might ever imagine.
Also this Sunday we recognize BLC’s newest high school grads!!
As always, please feel free to invite friends and family!
As always, we’ll enjoy meaningful music, prayer, and liturgy. It is good to be together, whether in person or online.
