Pentecost was absolutely extraordinary! If you were unable to be there, you can worship online with this link. Many, many thanks to all who came and participated. And huge thanks to Annette, Allison, and John who stayed at BLC to greet those who didn’t know we were at MVFUMC and came to our building - it takes a whole team to be a community!

The Sunday after Pentecost is always Trinity Sunday. It’s the only Sunday where we intentionally explore a specific theological concept. And wow, is the Trinity ever a challenging one! How does anyone understand God as three persons, and yet still only be one entity? Metaphors just don’t cut it. So how do we approach the topic of the Trinity? Maybe it’s less about understanding, and more about experience. I’ve found a great deal of spiritual nourishment in preparing this sermon - the Trinity is more personal than we might ever imagine.

Also this Sunday we recognize BLC’s newest high school grads!!

As always, please feel free to invite friends and family!

As always, we’ll enjoy meaningful music, prayer, and liturgy. It is good to be together, whether in person or online.

After Jesus’ resurrection, he hung out with his followers for 40 days, appearing here and there. We don’t have much of a record of these weeks, but we do have several texts that describe his last moments on earth, before he goes up into the sky, heading back to Creator God. Yes, it’s kind of strange - this guy just floating up into the heavens! Historically the Church hasn’t focused much on the Ascension, and yet it’s pretty darn important in the life of the church. What do we need to know about this event, and how does it tie to Pentecost? We’ll reflect on those questions and, hopefully, gain a bit more appreciation for this vital event that shaped the future of all Jesus’ followers.

As always, we’ll enjoy meaningful music, prayer, and liturgy. It is good to be together, whether in person or online.

After two incredible sermons from Prs Kevin and Kelsey Beebe, you’ve got me again! We’ll be in the 14th chapter of John, at some of the last conversations Jesus had with his closest followers. It’s poignant. He acknowledges their fears and provides encouragement - something we all need these days, hey? I look forward to being church together this Sunday.

As always, we’ll enjoy meaningful music, prayer, and liturgy. It is good to be together, whether in person or online.
