As we demonstrated the heart of Jesus in feeding the hungry we saw many surrender their hearts to the Lord. We quickly realized the need to provide a place to disciple the people we were reaching out to- thus the church was born. Today, OpenDoor Foodbank gives away well over a million pounds of food every year to the hurting in our area. In June 2013, Pastor Gloria Gillaspie retired and entrusted

her church to us. In one amazing God moment, OpenDoor inherited a whole new congregation along with a wonderful facility that can seat 1000 people. We are thankful for the legacy of Lighthouse and the groundwork that was laid for the work the Lord wants to do today. Our Mission:

EXPERIENCE: Create an atmosphere that is safe, casual and loving with the goal of preparing a place for all who enter to experience Jesus in a personal way. We desire to be real before Him and allow Him to transform us to His image. LIFE: As freedom fanatics and hope zealots, we celebrate all things life. There is life in Jesus so there is life in us; we pray we demonstrate that in all we do.

Grief changes you.
And some days, it can feel like you’re carrying more than anyone around you can see.

If you’ve lost someone you love, GriefShare is a place where you don’t have to walk through it alone. ❤️

For 13 weeks, we’ll gather in a safe, welcoming space to talk, listen, learn, and most importantly, invite Jesus into the places that still hurt.

There is no timeline for grief. There is no pressure to “move on.” Just a place to take the next step toward comfort, healing, and hope.

Grief is real—but so is the presence of God.

Yesterday, we were reminded that we do not have to walk through loss alone. Jesus meets us in the ache, stays close to the brokenhearted, and gently leads us toward healing and hope.
