Choose forgiveness. Choose Jesus. Forgiveness is choosing to not let wrongdoings define or control you anymore. At the center of the Christian story is that we’ve all fallen short. Not just “out there,” but in our hearts - our thoughts, our choices, and our pride. Scripture is clear: “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). That levels everything. It means none of is above needing mercy - we all stand in need of it.

That’s exactly why Jesus matters. The cross was a declaration of what He chose to do for us. “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). When you realize how much you’ve been forgiven by God, it reshapes how we’re called to extend forgiveness to others.

Choosing forgiveness is alignment with truth. It’s saying, “I’ve been shown mercy I didn’t deserve, so I won’t withhold it from someone else.” It means stepping into a life where the chains of fleshly pride don’t define you anymore - grace does.

Choose forgiveness. Choose Jesus.
