Freedom has a cost. 🇺🇸❤️

Behind every flag waving in the wind is a story. A mother who prayed. A father who served. A family who waited. A soldier who laid down their life so someone else could live in freedom.

And maybe that’s why Memorial Day quietly echoes the heartbeat of the Gospel.

Because long before we ever understood sacrifice, Jesus showed us what love truly looked like.🥹🙏🏻

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave everything for this country. But may their sacrifice also remind us of the Savior who gave everything for our souls.

Freedom is never free.
Not earthly freedom.
Not eternal freedom.

Both were purchased with sacrifice.

So today, hug your family a little tighter. Thank God for the freedoms we often overlook. Pray for the families carrying grief and pride at the same time. And never lose sight of the One who willingly stretched out His hands on the cross so we could truly live free.
